Looking to Jesus: Being a Jesus-Centred Church

February 28 - March 1, 2025

Grace Mennonite Church. 430 Third Street, Steinbach, Manitoba

What does it mean for us to be a Jesus-centered church? How is who we are and what we do grounded in Jesus’ life, teachings, death, and resurrection?

Join us for MCM Gathering 2025, where during plenary and breakout sessions we will explore these questions together as congregations and as a regional church. This is a vital part of our Hope and Courage visioning process as MCM, which spills over into questions of identity and vision for our congregations. It also connects with celebrations of the 500th anniversary of Anabaptism. John D. Roth, professor emeritus of history at Goshen College and project director of MennoMedia’s Anabaptism at 500 initiative, will be our plenary speaker, helping us think about these questions from the perspective of the historical and global Anabaptist church.

May we “run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2)!
