“See, I Am Doing A New Thing!” (Isaiah 43:16-21)Location: Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford St, Winnipeg
Our community of congregations has a long history and a significant legacy of faithfulness to Jesus. But what does faithfulness to Jesus look like for us now, in this time of rapid change, as we move into an unknown and uncertain future?
Join us at Gathering 2026, where we as church delegates, board, staff, and guests will work together to shape our future as a regional church.
- We will be processing a proposed new Vision and Mission Statement for Mennonite Church Manitoba (see the draft version here), and brainstorming together to provide input for the board in strategic planning.
- We will reflect on what God has done among us in the past, and we will hear of what God is doing among us now and into the future.
- We will worship together, we will learn together, we will be blessed in our time together.
God is indeed “doing a new thing” among us! Let’s join in God’s good work together!

Saturday, March 7
- 8:30 am: Registration
- 9:00 am: Plenary Session: opening worship, Vision and Mission Statement, table discussion
- 10:15 am: Break
- 10:45 am: Plenary Session: financial report, program reports
- 12:00 pm: Lunch
- 1:15 pm: Plenary Session: nominations, new congregation, strategic planning, table discussion
- 3:00 pm: Plenary Session: closing worship, commission for ministry
