Ring up the Cash - Thank You!

July 16th

Everyone at Camps with Meaning is grateful for the contributions to the Ring up the Cash Covid Relief Campaign.

The campaign ended on July 10, and exceeded the modest $25,000 goal handily. Final receipts topped $38,000.

Campaign participants walked, biked, baked, memorized Bible verses, slept in tents and much more, to raise awareness and funds for the campaign.

The money will go towards alleviating the large deficit Camp Assiniboia will realize because of the Covid Pandemic. All rental revenue stopped for the last year, and camper fees are greatly reduced. Some estimates suggest a possible $70,000 deficit.

Most hard hit have been the staff, a number who are only now being brought back to work after a long lay-off.

This successful campaign and a number of grants put Camp Assiniboia in a much better financial position than was expected.

Please pray for the staff at Camp Assiniboia, and more broadly for the larger Camps with Meaning camping ministry.
