February 13thNew Website for MCM launches quietly
The new Mennonite Church Manitoba website launched quietly on February 13, 2020.
"The potential for this site is enormous. It will just take some time to unlock it." shares Darryl Neustaedter Barg, Assoc Director of Communications. "We set a launch date for all the Regional Churches to launch together. It seemed like a great idea. Too bad it came at such an awkward season in our MCM communication workflow."
The new web platform is designed to eventually link Mennonite Church Canada, the Regional Churches (like MCM), and any congregations that want to participate via news and events. Articles will be able to move across the system, so that there can be more sharing of inspiration and experience. The cost of the site includes the capacity to do online donations and event registrations.
